Our Commitment
Whisper2 is committed to providing a safe, private messaging experience for all users. While we protect your privacy with end-to-end encryption, we do not tolerate abuse of our platform. These guidelines help ensure a respectful and secure environment for everyone.
Acceptable Use
Whisper2 is designed for private communication. You are welcome to:
- Communicate freely and privately with your contacts
- Share files, photos, videos, and voice messages with contacts
- Create groups for collaboration and discussion
- Use voice and video calls for secure conversations
Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited on Whisper2:
- Spam or bulk unsolicited messages: Sending unwanted messages to users who have not contacted you
- Harassment, bullying, or threats: Intimidating, threatening, or repeatedly messaging someone who has asked you to stop
- Hate speech or discrimination: Targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Sharing illegal content: Distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), copyrighted material, or any content that violates local or international laws
- Impersonation or fraud: Pretending to be someone else or attempting to deceive users
- Distribution of malware: Sharing viruses, malicious software, or phishing links
- Attempting to circumvent security measures: Trying to bypass encryption, access other users' accounts, or compromise platform security
How We Protect Users
While your messages are end-to-end encrypted and we cannot read them, we have built several safety features into Whisper2:
- Message Requests: Messages from unknown senders go to a separate request queue. You choose who can contact you directly.
- Blocking: Users can instantly block any contact, preventing all future communication from that account.
- Reporting: Users can report abusive users and messages directly in the app. Reports include metadata (not decrypted message content) and are reviewed by our team.
- Account Bans: Confirmed violations result in temporary or permanent account bans, preventing bad actors from using our platform.
Enforcement Actions
Violations of these Community Guidelines may result in graduated enforcement actions:
- Warning: First-time minor violations may result in a warning and request to stop the behavior.
- Temporary Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations result in temporary account suspension (1-30 days).
- Permanent Ban: Severe violations (harassment, illegal content, CSAM) result in immediate and permanent account termination.
- Law Enforcement Referral: Criminal activity (CSAM, threats, illegal content) is reported to appropriate authorities as required by law.
Appeals
If you believe your account was wrongly suspended or banned, you may submit an appeal by contacting abuse@whisper2.aiakademiturkiye.com. Include your Whisper ID and a brief explanation. We will review appeals within 7 business days.
